Roaming cost benchmark: Where shown, roaming comparisons are indicative estimates based on a basket of publicly advertised consumer roaming rates from major Irish mobile providers, currently Vodafone Ireland, Three Ireland and eir. The benchmark models the cost of using 5GB of mobile data over 7 consecutive days and calculates an average from the valid applicable rates identified for that destination. It is not a quote or a representation of the price charged by any individual provider. Actual roaming charges can vary significantly by provider, mobile plan, roaming zone, bundle, fair-use allowance, destination and usage. EU/EEA roaming may be included in an existing mobile plan. Rates are reviewed periodically and the benchmark is provided for comparison purposes only.
