Dubai airport arrival
Plan your first hour after landing in Dubai
Read the airport code and terminal on your booking before planning the first hour. DXB has direct Metro access at Terminals 1 and 3; DWC uses different bus, taxi and Metro-connection arrangements, and operating hours are not a promise that a late arrival will catch a train.
Published and evidence checked 11 September 2026 · Commercial disclosure: suitcase.ie sells travel eSIMs.
DXB and DWC need different plans

Save these before take-off
- Airport code and terminal from the booking.
- Accommodation name, address and contact method.
- Verified transfer booking and pickup instructions.
- Airline contact and live journey links.
- A payment method and the current RTA route page.
Dubai Government documents airport Wi-Fi availability, but this guide does not invent an SSID, speed or terminal-wide performance guarantee.
Check the service you can actually catch
At the evidence check, Dubai Airports listed DXB Red Line hours as 05:00–midnight Monday–Thursday, 05:00–01:00 the next day on Friday, 05:00–midnight Saturday and 08:00–midnight Sunday, with potential variations. These are operating hours, not a guarantee that a late-arriving passenger can clear the airport and catch a train. Check the airport page and RTA journey information close to travel.
